  1. The whole spreadsheet not coming up on the link. Not important I guess, it is clear that the green are ones that signed. However, what is the red and yellow? Does the "reds" mean they have expressed that they were not going to sign or does it mean there has been no direct contact? Does "yellow" mean they have expressed willingness to sign but have not done so yet??? Can we have further explanation and clarification please?

  2. i count 78 out of 132 which is not even 60%. What kind of feedback are you getting? Surprising that there are not more. Are there more that have said they intend to sign but have not done so yet? Have you run into some owners that are completely resistant? What is the story here?

  3. I assumed “S” meant signed. I counted 80.

    1. I counted 80 also, but two of those are in the yellow column. Any meaning to that?

    2. I’m not sure. But 80 in one week is amazing!!!! 52 to go! Staying positive!!!!

  4. Does anyone have a spreadsheet of the legal renters? I'd like to map that against the status of contracts signed. There should only be 33 legal rentals, 100 owner occupied (or not occupied). Legal renters have to have a lease filed with CMA.

  5. need to get everyone together to turn in signed papers!!

  6. Since there is not a key, I assume green is signed, yellow is received a contract and red has not received a contract. That's just my guess.

  7. Good evening everyone! I would like to clarify the spreadsheet and answer your questions.

The whole spreadsheet is not shared on purpose. We did not want to release personal information other than the Unit #'s. Green means they have signed. Yellow means we confirmed they have received their contracts. Red is a combination of needing better contact info and confirming they have received their contracts. Some emails and phone numbers are dated, so feel free to email us if you have more current contact info for those in the red.

    Some of your questions:

What kind of feedback are you getting? Honestly it's been incredibly positive.

Are there more that have said they intend to sign but have not done so yet? Yes, there are A LOT, but Josh and I intentionally keep them yellow on the spreadsheet regardless if they tell us "I'm 100% on board" until their contract is signed.

Have you run into some owners that are completely resistant? The short answer is no. Nobody has told us they have no intention to sign.

I hope this is helpful and transparent for everyone. Please continue to post on the blog, or feel free to reach out to Josh and I.

    1. What is the number of signed? That is not clear even with your explanation. The way you've been doing it with just a number made sense.

    2. Ky, I apologize for being unclear in my explanation. I assure you I'm trying to be very transparent. We're at about 87 contracts signed right now. I believe another one came in just a bit ago, but I'll have to confirm with Josh in the morning. I updated the blog a few hours ago with more information along with a list of approved renters for SOBU. I hope this is helpful.

    3. I understand its a lot but totals are always nice. People are asking for the original spreadsheet with totals: total units, signed, unsigned, approved to rent. And a countdown clock on when this needs to be done by would be nice too. LET'S GET THESE PAPERS SIGNED PEOPLE!! I'm going to Hawaii with my family in December and I'd LOOOOOOOVE to give everyone of them a few thousand bucks to share my JOYYYYY!!! SOOOO don't be a SCROOGE let's make it a HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON!!!

  8. not a criticism but a question. how is it possible for us not to be able to contact owner of a unit?
r they up to date on dues? not sure how it works but seems that it should be on record somewhere? r there alot that fall in that category?

  9. We ran into same issue last time we went through this. If an owner is not on property sometimes it is possible to get in touch through renter if it is leased legally, but sometimes even that proved to be difficult. Lots of reasons it is difficult to get through to owner. It can be done it just takes a little more time to track down.

  10. Yeah Josh said they sent out certified letters to those owners.

  11. Do we have any owners who are NOT paying their condo fees? I know it was a problem a while back, but I haven't heard anything.

Also, does the Board post their notes anywhere? Or, email them to owners? Those ought to be shared with owners more often than just the annual meeting. It would be good to know what their dealing with (like raising association fees/enforcing renting/maintenance in case this doesn't go through, which could convince some who may be on the fence).
