95 Contracts!

Good Evening All! We received two more contracts today. Here's the updated link.

I believe this weekend will allow many to give attention to their contracts and sign. 👍

I encourage all of you to speak with your neighbors about this great opportunity.

  1. As someone else said in this blog, the people that should be reading aren't. Case in point: I was speaking to a neighbor last night and she said she didn't want to read the blog because of how nasty it got last time around. She seemed unconcerned when I told her about all the buildings needed repairs, not really fully understanding, in my opinion, how it would affect her. The arguments about the building are all valid ones. How do we better get the message out there?

    1. Is your neighbor an owner or a renter? Has she signed already, or is she not planning to? Is she one of the three holdouts we had last time? This is a different deal and I really hope she won't hold the rest of us hostage. Please find out how to get through to her. I'll send donuts, if it would help.

  2. I believe posting info in the building about costs of repairs etc and all the reasons to sign the contracts is our best option is an excellent idea. My suggestion is to keep it as brief as possible because people will see it in passing. If the tactic of sliding this same info under peoples doors, or sent in emails or snail mail, by all means make those more detailed. We have to think like marketing professionals. Also, I will gladly graphically design any posts for maximum attention grabbing.

  3. Your comments echo the requests others have made. I assure you they have been heard, and I know your HOA is putting something together for you today.

I wasn't here for the last go around when things got nasty on the blog, but I understand the concern. I think it is helpful to point out that everyone has been nothing but gracious and respectful on this new blog. We all know what's at stake, and the situation is incredibly different than it was ten years ago, which I think provides a positive perspective. Please encourage your neighbor to join us!

  5. Too many autocorrect typos the first time.

The board just sent something out. It said this deal could close as early as January or February. As a legal renter, I may have a change of tenants during this time. What can I put in place that would enable me to go from owner/renter relationship to renter/sub-lease (without changing the contract)?
Is there any detailed rental agreement you can share with us, yet? My property management company said their agreement with me ends when my ownership ends. If I can get something in place, I can keep my renter from being hassled by this.
